Accounting is the “first” profession

In my keynote address given during Karnataka State Chartered Accountants Association (KSCAA) held at NIMHANS Auditorium on March 22, 2008, I referred to “accounting” as the “first profession” in the alphabetical list of professions and requested Accountants in India to make it “appealing” and “cool” for the youngsters today (the way IT attracts youngsters in India today)

Looks like people really liked the idea (based on the immediate feedback and the e-mails I got subsequently)
