Computer Sciences Corporation (one of the global Top 5 IT services companies with nearly $ 15 billion in annual revenues) acquired Raj Vattikuti founded Covansys for $ 1.3 billion.
It is yet another interesting development in the exciting IT services arena.
Covansys with majority of its 7,000 employees in Chennai and Bangalore will be 50% of CSC’s presence in India post acquisition.
The Indian CEO Subrahmanyam has managed to take Covansys into the “Top 10 Great Places to work” for three years in a row in India a major achievement.
